Lonely Heart (Amsterdam Pole)

A very rare piece of Amsterdam history.

This work is made from a laser-cut heart and an actual slice of an original Amsterdam foundation pole, one that was used during the construction of Amsterdam Central Station.

Amsterdam is famously built on poles, driven deep into the swampy soil to hold the city up.
